At the beginning of November me and my best friend flew to Budapest and had a lovely time in the Hungarian capital.

It has been already a year since I moved away from the city, so it was nice to revisit some of the old places that I liked and show it to my bestie. We were staying in an Airbnb in the 7th district, right next to Gozsdu Udvar, which means the location of the apartment was perfect. We were right in the middle where everything happens and it was easier to get around, because the main transportation hub was right on our doorstep.

On our first morning there we wanted to have bagels for breakfast and found this cute little bagel shop on Bajcsy-Zsilinszky street called IÑEZ Bagel Shop. You could choose at least from 10 different bagels and the ones we had were delicious.

Another cafe that we like and visited before is the Bookcafe – Lotz terem inside the Alexandra Book Shop on Andrassy Street. This majestic hall was a ball room in the past and today live music accompanies you whilst you drink your coffee and eat your cake.

On our last morning in Budapest, before heading to the airport, we went to Zoska Reggeliző & Kávézó to have breakfast. This place is located close to the Astoria metro station and serves breakfast food all day long. When we saw on the menu that they have French toast the way we like it (not sweet), we knew what we will order. It came with sour cream and veggies and it was very delicious and filling.

This is the end of another Budapest diary. Have you ever been to these places that I just mentioned? If so, did you like them?

Have a good day and talk to you soon,

  1. Very nice read 🙂 I was in Budapest around the same time, albeit for the very first time. Must say, I liked it so much, I’d definitely go back.
